Monique, a Redskins Cheerleader, is a 2010 graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Jazz Dance Performance. Elizabeth Fechtel was crowned Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012

Orlando, FL- August 20, 2010- Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen 2011 Elizabeth Fechtel was crowned Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012. Elizabeth preformed a musical theater jazz routine to "I Am What I Am" and spoke of her platform S.E.R.V.E.; Students Everywhere Recognizing Volunteer Efforts in order to win the hearts of the audience and judges.

Marie-Noelle Ada Meyo was crowned Miss Universe Gabon 2012

Road to Miss Universe 2012



Marie-Noelle Ada Meyo, 21, from the province of Ngouniéa, is the first ever Miss Universe Gabon. The pageant happened in Libreville, and was attended by Leila Lopes, Miss Universe 2011.

Divouvi Channa was the first runner-up and Nyangue Cherolle Boubéya was the second runner-up.

Located in western Africa, it was a French colony until 1960. About 1.5 million people live in the country.

Biography

Kendal is a 15 year old sophomore at the Montclair Kimberley Academy where she is an honors student. She is a member of Master Singers and has been involved in numerous plays where she has had leading roles. In addition to her participation in the performing arts, Kendal is also an athlete, as she is a member of both the varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. She is a member of student government serving as a member of the spirit committee.

Kendal donates her time to Operation Smile, as she feels that every child deserves to have the ability to smile. She is very passionate about acting and singing. In addition to participating in her school plays and singing groups, she has attended acting courses and film study in New York City and has even shared her vocal talents at the prestigious Carnegie hall. She also enjoys traveling, snow skiing, reading, and attending Broadway shows.

Biography

Briana is a freshman at Oak Creek High School. She is an honor roll student who is an active member of the Best Buddies program and the Multi-Cultural club. She also plans to run Track and Field for the third consecutive year. In her spare time she enjoys rock climbing, swimming, volunteering, roller coasters, traveling, spending time with friends, and most of all being with her family.

Frederick and Kerry Yamat are the proud parents of Briana. She is also a sister to Christian, Camille, and Miles. Family is extremely important to her. She claims she wouldn't be the person she is today without them. She credits her dad who she says always provides the wise words of wisdom; her mom, the coach through thick and thin, Christian, her older brother with the best pep talks, and her younger siblings Camille and Miles, her most proud and loudest fans. Briana says that this event has been an emotional one and has really strengthened the family bond even more.

Briana is a goal setter and has her heart set on competing. 'I'll keep trying until I succeed.' She believes in making her mark in this world and inspiring others along the way. As a young teen, Briana knows what it is like to struggle with the pressure to be 'perfect'. She has realized and come to the conclusion that more people will like you for the real you. Briana says about herself 'I am not perfect. I would rather be disliked for who I am, rather than to be liked for someone I am not.' She is comfortable with who she is and wants others' to know it is okay to be who you are. Being different makes you, you.
